Compassionate Inquiry

My work specializes in supporting individuals who have experienced complex trauma and supporting those who are experiencing a ‘crossroads’ in their life utilizing a somatic-based, trauma-informed approach developed by Gabor Maté called Compassionate Inquiry (CI) which helps you identify unconscious dynamics influencing your life and supports self-liberation. CI integrates principles from internal family systems, interpersonal neurobiology, cognitive behavioral, Gestalt, and narrative therapy to unlock whatever may be holding you back today. I have additional training in CBT and DBT that I also often utilize to support my clients. I have completed the 240-hour post graduate professional training program in Compassionate Inquiry and have been recently selected for the Compassionate Inquiry Internship and Mentorship programs in 2023.

“The purpose of the Compassionate Inquiry system is to drill down to the core stories people tell themselves – to get them to see what story they are telling themselves unconsciously; what those beliefs are, where they came from; and guide them to the possibility of letting go of those stories, or letting go of the hold those stories have on them …

That’s what the Compassionate Inquiry system is.”

~ Dr. Gabor Maté
