Insurance

Direct billing is available to: Alberta Blue Cross, Blue Cross Medavie (RCMP, Canadian Forces, Veterans), and Alberta School Employee Benefit Plan (ASEBP, teachers and school support staff). In order to direct bill, we require your legal name, insurance policy/group/ID number, and date of birth.

Clients with insurance from other companies will be offered a detailed receipt upon payment upfront to support individuals seeking reimbursement from insurance providers.

Services covered for clients on disability or on Worker’s Compensation are typically up to the discretion of the insurance provider’s Case Manager/Return-to-Work Specialist. Clients must disclose if this this might apply during intake and/or as applicable to ensure we continue to offer ethical care. As fees are due at the time of service, if support occurs prior to any third-party contracts being in place, the client is responsible for any fees incurred.

It is the responsibility of the client to check with their particular plan prior to session to ensure coverage. We recommend you request confirmation of coverage per session, per year, and when your benefits will be renewed. Any portions not covered by insurance or amounts outstanding will remain the responsibility of the client and must be paid at the time of service.
